LOCATION - The Old Rectory is a lovely Georgian house, once the home of Jane Austen’s brother Henry. Situated in the village of Bentley on the Surrey/Hampshire borders about 40 miles from London and within walking distance of Bentley Station, where there are direct trains to the capital and the SE. There is also a local bus service to the nearby towns of Farnham, Alton and Guildford. All courses are non-residential but we can arrange local B&B. Find out more about Bentley at http://www.bentleyvillage.co.uk. This website gives excellent road directions to the village. The Old Rectory is located opposite the village pub, The Star, and the village shop.

TUTORS - At the Old Rectory Cookery School we provide individual attention and positive encouragement, instilling confidence and providing that learning new cookery skills is easy, fun and fulfilling.

You will receive expert tuition by qualified tutors. Classes are taught by Linda Fuller and Alison Barrett, who have been teaching cookery for many years, so have a wealth of knowledge to pass on. They always enjoy sharing their experiences and teaching new skills to students. At The Old Rectory Cookery School you will enjoy learning new techniques and recipes in an atmosphere of infectious enthusiasm for food and cooking.
